Getting Settled In...

The Baker's have moved and can officially call Oregon home! We are so excited and happy to finally start feeling settled! This last week has been a world wind. Thursday, I headed to St. Louis to finish getting the house packed up and meet with the movers to be sure everything went smoothly. Dave stayed home with the kids and moved most of our things into the new home with help from a couple friends and the kids. Saturday, I flew home to Oregon where we spent our first night in OUR NEW HOME!!! The kids are having a blast with the neighborhood kids they know from school and there are a lot of them! The people we bought the house from started a tradition on the 4th of July by having a neighborhood bike and dog parade! The Baker's decided to continue the tradition and hosted our first bike parade where we met a ton of the kids and families in the neighborhood. After the parade we attended a friends BBQ. We are all on cloud nine making new friends, getting settled in and feeling great about things. The moving truck should be here next week with the remaining things!!
