This year was Katrina's third year dancing! I find such joy in watching her dance. This year she did a tap routine to "Cooler Than Me" and it was very cute! Next year she is ready to take on Tap and Jazz so she will have more than one dance performance! She did a fantastic job, strutted her stuff and showed the audience her beautiful smile. She made us so proud! I will continue to try to upload the video but it is giving me problems on the computer so I will work on that!

After the recital, the kids spent the night with their Papa Ernie and Mama Janice. Dave and I had a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary! One year ago today, we were surrounded by all the people we love the most, on a beautiful beach, getting married! Dave planned the night out and we went to Portland City Grill. The food and wine was amazing and the views were spectacular. The sun was shining and we could see Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens from our table. After such an enjoyable dinner we headed out to listen to a solo acoustic guitar player who was phenomenal. We had such a great night together! Happy Anniversary to us! :)

This morning we woke up to the sounds of a Hot Air Balloon right outside our window. Such a fun anniversary surprise!
Miles had a tournament this weekend and The Tualatin Wolves brought home 2 wins, one tie game and one loss. Miles pitched 4 innings, threw seven strikeouts and let in only run. Last night he was the closing pitcher and though Dave and I couldn't be there because we were at dinner celebrating, we hear he did a phenomenal job. Today's game was played VERY well by the entire team and we got some really great photos!
