The weather in Portland this weekend was amazing! The top was off the Jeep the entire weekend as we did the usual, baseball, parks, walks with the dog, Costco and errands.
Saturday night Dave and I took advantage of a few hours for Date Night and headed downtown to the Pearl District. There is always something going on in this city and Portland was preparing for the Rose Festival Parade. We did not see the parade however we did see a lot of funny characters who were a part of the parade. We cruised to a restaurant bar called, Life Of Riley. They had good food, cold drinks and patio seating which is just up our alley. A funny part of the night was when we were approached by a group of party people that were dressed as characters from the 80's and 90's show "Saved By The Bell". They were all intoxicated and all dressed in 80's gear for a 30th birthday. A guy says to me "You look like a lot of fun. Why don't you come on the Party Bus?!" Dave must not have looked like that much fun! I said, "No thanks, I'll stay with my husband, we have to get our kids in a little bit." The guy walked away! HAHA! Dave was less than amused...he wanted to be "fun looking" too! Too funny!
On Sunday we took the kids to the Rose Festival. They had a blast with the rides and games. We took tons of pictures so enjoy a few!
