SPRING BREAK AND EASTER 2015

 

We had a beautiful Spring Break trip to Southern CA. to visit Dave's cousin Erik, his fiancé Chris, his daughter Mia, and Chris's boy Luke and Weez! Pop and Gran came too and rented a beautiful house on Balboa Island. It was a great family visit and we had fun in the sun and water! The weather was perfect. We also took time out to visit Disneyland one day which was a blast. RJ LOVED Mickey Mouse. Miles and Katrina enjoyed all the rides until 9pm at night but RJ and I left the park about 3:30. He was toast! Gran took us to Fashion Island one morning where we shopped and shopped. We rented paddle boards, went on boat rides and had a lot of wonderful , yummy meals. We want to go back NOW!

 

PDX Carpet...I don't know why..but people in Portland always take pics of their feet on the carpet as they adventure out of Portland...so why not?! #PDXCARPET

 Our first stop was to see Laura,  Jeff and Gus in Huntington Beach for mimosas! Gus is sooo cute!! Seeing my friends have children is such a joy. Laura and I have been friends since 6th grade and seeing her in her home with her husband and Gus was awesome.

Then immediately to the beach!

Chris, Erik and Mia hosted us the first night before we checked in to our home...They have a beautiful house and awesome dogs. Mia is getting so bog and has quite a fun personality! She is a little diva and RJ had a great time with her at San Juan Capistrano Children's area and petting zoo.

 Later that day we went to the beach!

We arrived at the house on Balboa and went straight out to dinner. Pop and Gran were excited to see the kids.

Heaven on Earth for a week!

This dinosaur was a few houses down from the home we stayed in for the week and each day RJ walked by with a little "ROAR!"

Gran and Pop took Miles and Katrina out to dinner one evening and afterward Dave and I went with Chris and Erik out for sushi! We took the boat to dinner. My kind of life!

We missed Miles and Katrina this Easter but RJ, Dave and I enjoyed church and a relaxing day with friends.

 

My friend Nikki came to Portland and performed Comedy and the local comedy club. It was too funny.
