Short But Sweet For Certain

We have had a wonderful weekend with my Mom and Dad. They arrived Friday at 1pm, we had a nice dinner and watched Lehigh beat Duke in March Madness Championships! Mom and Dad are celebrating 30 years of marriage and Mom turned 50 so we had a little gift for her which was fun! Saturday morning after breakfast we hit the road to Cannon Beach and had a really great time on the beach, shopping and eating at Cannon's famous MO'S where we had some of the best clam chowder and fish tacos I have ever had! The drive was crazy because one second it would be snowing and sleeting and the next second the sun would come out! We didn't know what to expect when we got there but it turned out to a BEAUTIFUL day! Mom, Dad, Dave and I went to Maher's Irish Pub in Lake Oswego again this year for the St. Patty's Day celebration and had quite the party last night! My friends Lyndsay and Emily joined us and we had a ball. Katrina and Miles really enjoy my parents. We have played games relaxed and really enjoyed their company. Today, Dad is making chili and chicken wings, we have dips laid out and Sangria's in our hand ready to relax after our morning at our new church....We will miss them when they're gone but enjoying them while they are here!! They are headed back to Texas tomorrow.....

Mom and Dad married 30 years!

Happy 50th Birthday Mom!
