Today were Miles and Katrina's final soccer games. Miles game was at 9:15am and Katrina's game was at 9:30am. Dave and I had to divide up and kept each other in the know during the games! Miles scored the only two goals to win the game and Katrina had a great assist for a goal to help her team win as well. The Baker kids are very fast...I am hoping future children will have that gene too!! Katrina's coach stated after the game during the team trophy ceremony that she is so fast that she leaves the wind behind her and that she had a great spirit all season with her team mates. Miles coach stated he was the best player he has ever coached. He stated not only is he the greatest player he ever coached but he is very kind to his teammates. How cool is that!!? They both had great coaches and teammates that have accepted our family right in and have made us feel very welcome. We are thankful to have met some really nice people in this transition to Oregon. Miles starts Basketball (which we hear is very competitive...Dave said some of the kids at tryouts looked like "men") next week and we still need to get Katrina signed up for Dance or Gymnastics...though she has been talking about taking guitar lessons to become the next Taylor Swift, so we will see!!
Chow for now!
