Portland got at least 8 inches of snow! People are saying its been years since the last snow like this. In Missouri, I was used to snow storms that were controlled by plows and salt trucks. In Portland it's a different story, the roads are snow covered! School was canceled the afternoon Thursday and all day Friday and we've been having a ball. Some people have even been skiing in our neighborhood because of the great hills and snow covered streets. The kids have been running around with their friends, sledding and just playing like crazy. BRRRR....It's cold but we are having fun!
