Dave and I started dating January of 2008, married in June of 2010 and I decided to start blogging in October of 2010....
Thank you for following! As of today, our blog has over 17,000 page views! We love our friends and family so much and this has been a great way of keeping them in the loop. It is so funny to look back at when the blog started. October 2010, things were quite different! Dave and I had just gotten married that June in a beautiful wedding, moved the kids and ourselves across the country on a 5 day road trip into a little 2 bedroom apartment with only 1/4 of our belongings all while Dave was getting his feet wet in his new job. Believing we would sell our home in St. Louis with no problems and live in an apartment for a short time was our thought which then turned out to be over 400 days of apartment living with only the things that would fit into a 9 ft Budget rental truck. Don't get me wrong, apartment living is wonderful when you have your belongings and are prepared....We left all of our new wedding gifts, furniture, a lot of clothes and belongings in St. Louis. To say the day we moved from the apartment and sold the St. Louis house was a new beginning would be accurate! We purged as many things from our past as possible, left the old and brought in the new! NONE of the Apartment furniture is with us today and not a lot from the St. Louis house is with us either! From our life in St. Louis to our new life in Oregon, we have been so blessed! Since the beginning of our relationship and the blogging, our friends and family have been a huge support for us! Dave and I are each others rock...we have tackled so many things together. From blended family challenges, to job loss, to new jobs, 3 miscarriages, Anniversaries, Holidays, daily routine and tasks, Funerals, Weddings, Vacations, Old friends and New friends, School, Sports and more! The Blog has been our documentation! We have enjoyed the Blog and plan to continue it for a long time! It's our BAKER BUZZ; the scrapbook of our life!
