We had an incredible weekend with our friends, The Pfiefers, at their cabin in Detroit Lake. They were so nice to invite us with them for a couple days of boating, fishing, and relaxing! We had a ball! The weather was chilly but sunny and wonderful. The first day we did not have much luck fishing and caught nothing. We still enjoyed the boat, made a nice dinner on their traeger and had a gorgeous bonfire which included roasting marshmallows for s'mores! Sunday, Craig, Erika's husband got the fish finder GPS working and we found a perfect spot for fishing! Dave was the first to catch a fish and I think he wins SMALLEST fish! Katrina was next to catch one and she wins BIGGEST fish of the day! Miles followed as Stella and everyone else caught more and more fish! The only ones who didn't catch fish were us Mom's. Erika and I had no luck! Everyone else caught two or more! We will be eating trout this week! We had a WONDERFUL time and are so thankful for their invitation. HOW FUN and so SO SO beautiful!
