During our trip to Seattle we went to the very first Starbucks coffee which started in 1971! Dave and I were not even born yet ...(Dave came along in 1973...and... well, I came long after that!! haha!) As you can see the business model and marketing plan has changed quite a bit in the years since. It was really neat to see Starbucks how it used to be....It started a small little coffee shop in WA and as of 2008, is now an employer to over 170,000 people. Starbucks is also named FORTUNE MAGAZINE'S Top 100 Companies to work! Anyway, take a look at the logo and how it has changed...pretty interesting!
