Miles is an ambassador (leadership students) at school and his leadership team volunteered to help our community plant trees in one of our many local parks!!! Our family was one of 85 people to show up to Ibach Park in Tualatin Oregon to plant trees today in the RAIN!! We loaded in the car this morning at 8am, got breakfast and coffee and headed to the park! We had a great time...Really, we did. Even in the rain! Our team (Baker Team of 4) planted over twenty trees this morning! To me, they looked like sticks with roots! It's amazing what a stick with roots can grow into! Though it would not have stood a chance in my yard until today, because I would have thought it was a weed! Go Baker Family for helping out the Earth this morning! We definitely felt like Oregon Tree Huggers this morning! HAHA!
